Donald Trump’s mandate sought to prevent the country with most of the new Harvard students and argued that those who had already been registered were in danger of the visa.

This Jueves (05.06.2025) a Court temporarily interrupted the last action of Donald Trump to hinder the registration of foreign students in Harvard, amid the aggravation of the conflict between the president of the United States and one of the most recognized universities globally.

On Miércoles, the White House tried to prohibit the country into most of the new Harvard students, arguing that those already registered were in danger of the visa.

«Harvard’s behavior has transformed it into an inappropriate place for foreign students and researchers,» said the order. A complaint filed before a Federal Court was quickly modified by the University, arguing that this «is not the first effort of the administration to disconnect Harvard from its international students.»

He argued that it is a component of a «growing government retaliation campaign, in clear retaliation for the use of Harvard of their rights protected by the first amendment to oppose government demands to control governance, curriculum and ‘ideology’ of its academy and students». This Jueves, Judge Allison Burroughs determined that the Trump administration cannot execute the republican mandate.

According to her, Harvard evidenced that, without a temporary limitation order, there was the danger of suffering «immediate and irreparable damage before the opportunity to listen to all involved.» The same judge had already stopped Trump’s previous attempt to hinder the registration of international students in that educational center.

Harvard has become the core of the campaign of the president of the United States against the most outstanding universities in the country, to which it imputes anti -Semitism for tolerating proper protests on their campus and for applying diversity, inclusion and equality (DEI) policies.

His government has already frozen about 3.2 billion in subsidies and federal agreements with this Ivy League member, which brings together the most recognized superior schools in the nation, and has marginalized her of future aid, threatening to eliminate her fiscal benefits.
